OKTOBERFEST
Oktoberfest is one our favorite times of the year at King’s Road, and we embrace the dates and guidelines of the original Oktoberfest of Munich Germany, starting on the first Saturday after mid-September and ending on the first Sunday in October.
On that first September Saturday, we release our award-winning Oktoberfest Marzen Lager in the tasting room. Special one liter German beer steins and available for purchase filled with beer at a special price.
We also host the New Jesery State Championship of Steinholding. Contestants from all over New Jersey gather to compete with a chance to win $4000 and go to the National finals. In order to compete in State Championship you must first qualify at one of the qualifying heats. King’s Road will host the following qualifying:
• Friday, September 18 @ Medford Oktoberfest in Freedom Park – 7:00 PM
• Saturday, September 19 @ Medford Oktoberfest in Freedom Park – 3:05 PM and 5:55 PM
• Saturday, September 19 @ Moorestown Bluegrass Festival – 4:45 PM and 5:15 PM
• Saturday, September 26 @ King’s Road, Haddonfield – 1:30 PM
• LAST CHANCE: Saturday, October 3 @ King’s Road, Medford – 3:00 PM
• LAST CHANCE: Sunday, October 4 @ King’s Road, Haddonfield – 4:00 PM
• New Jersey State Championship: Saturday, October 17 @ King’s Road, Medford – 5:00 PM
